Timeline
1961: Department of Food Science founded.
1965: NCSU Food Science Club chartered with IFT
1968: Food Science Department moves into Schaub hall
1978: FSC starts selling ice cream at the state fair
2007: Nutrition and Bioprocessing majors added
2008: Department renamed to Food, Bioprocessing, and Nutrition Sciences

Dairy Bar chairs from 2025, 2023, 2022, and 1998 all scooping together at the state fair in 2025.
